Frognerparken
is a park in Oslo, and it must be experienced! The park is full of beautiful
sculptures made of Gustav Vigeland. Here you can take pictures and look at both
big and small sculptures. The most famous sculpture is maybe “Sinnataggen”.
“Sinnataggen” is a sculpture of a small, angry baby. Monolitten is also pretty
famous and that is a sculpture of lots of people lying in top of each other.
In
the park you can also walk around and look at the beautiful nature.
Frognerparken is full of people training, sunbathing and walking their dogs.
There is even a meadow where dogs can play and have fun. Early in the summer, the park is full of celebrating
seniors and there are a lot of people, but there is always enough place for
more!
The
park is in the city and you can always take a bus or the metro to get there.
Majorstua is the closest station you can come, but its not very far from the
park. On your way you can also visit or just see Frogner stadion and
Frognerbadet. Frogner stadion is a sport stadium where people are training, but
in wintertime, you can also go ice-skating there. The stadium is very popular,
especially at wintertime. Frognerbadet is even more popular, but not at winter-time,
only summertime. This is a bathing place with four different pools. One for
babies, one for a little older children, one for adults and one for those who
wants to jump from the tower. You should also visit these places!
